We have a unique connection with the local village. We sit on the village chief’s land.

The traditional Fijian feast is known as a “lovo.” Fish, spear caught in the waters of the estate, beef, and chicken are prepared with roasted coconut, cassava and taro and are wrapped in leaves and slowly roasted over hot rocks. Our double Lovo oven was built by the ancestors of the village chief and still functions today. Villagers will prepare a traditional Fijian Lovo right here on the estate grounds. You’ll share your Fijian feast with the Fijian’s who helped cook the meal, along with a half a case of beer.
